With a legitimately great sound system and a great underground house and techno DJs, Bossa Nova Civic Club has a great lineup. It’s released two albums of the music of music played in the club, Bushwick is Melting. Featuring a tropical theme decor, the club offers cocktails and food like empandas and arepas.
Verboten

After years of throwing parties around New York and elsewhere, Verboten set up their own venue. Located in hip Williamsburg, Verboten has a huge 10,000 foot space and a modern industrial edge. DJs like Carl Craig, Felix da Housecat, Matthew Dear, and Scarlette Etienne spin an eclectic blend of underground dance music. Verboten features the more intimate Cabaret Bar with its own sound system.
